It Started with a Small Group of Believers

Strong Tower Christian Church held the first meeting on Sunday, January 12, 2008, in the home of Terry & Vicky Weldon on Shookstown Road, Frederick. There were ten people in attendance. In March of 2008, Strong Tower Christian Church was incorporated in the state of Maryland as a 501C organization.

 

In September of 2008, the church moved to its second location in downtown Frederick and in March of 2009 moved a third time. Outgrowing that location by 2010, we moved to 467 W.Patrick Street. As of August 2022, we moved 3 minutes down the road to 650 Carroll Parkway where we have even more seating and a larger stage as we worship out of Frederick High School on Sundays. Pastors Darren and Angela Gerald started Strong Tower Christian Church and continue as senior pastors today.

 

We encourage attendees to be faithful to God's calling and participate in the life of the church.
